Environmental impact

Electric motorbikes do not produce exhaust fumes responsible for air pollution. Our electric motorbikes are powered by the Kenya electricity grid which has a 95% share of renewable energies: geothermal energy, hydropower, wind power.

10t of CO2 saved over the motorbike lifecycle (-90% compared to fuel )

Equivalent to 15Mt CO2 savings for the 1.5M riders in Kenya

Gender inclusivity

Today, the sector of boda-bodas in Kenya and East Africa is largely male-dominated. STIMA is taking the opportunity of the switch to electric motorbikes to open boda-boda jobs to women, placing them at the forefront of the electric transition.

Partner with us to accelerate women’s inclusion in the field!
